With the recent Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack on Twitter (meaning the site was down for long periods and hasn’t fully recovered), we’re going to postpone this week’s #lrnchat until next Thursday evening. Theme: the intersection of social learning and informal learning, and where the two diverge.
If you are interested in gathering with other #lrnchat friends, consider this an open assembly to talk about whatever suits you. We don’t plan on transcribing it for followup reading so perhaps it is a little more like an open bar than usual.

p.s. We are choosing not to use a traditional chat tool for a supplement tonight (although we may consider using FriendFeed as an alternative in the future) because in addition to the attack, the #lrnchat moderators are largely enthused about this tweetchat process because of the opportunity to widen the conversation through the larger social network.
